I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important element for personal change and growth.  I strive to create a place where you feel safe—safe to talk about what’s on your mind, to be yourself, to take risks and to access your dreams.  Together we will uncover your strengths and build on them.

Specialties:
Getting Started:
I offer a free phone consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, answer questions and talk briefly.  If we seem to have a good fit, then we will schedule an initial appointment.
Professional Consultation:  I have provided various trainings in psychological stress, risk assessment and emotional health, as well as community debriefings for critical stress incidents.  I am available to consult where insight and education around mental health, supporting people in crisis, grief and bereavement, and working with people with disabilities would be helpful to you or your organization.
Other Services Offered:
Therapy may be short-term or long-term.  We might meet weekly, or more or less often.  We will collaboratively decide how therapy will most benefit you and meet your needs.

I use a holistic approach that incorporates mind, body and spirit to help you tap into your own inner resources and capacity for healing.  I integrate  psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and gestalt therapy with mindfulness, body-centered relaxation and awareness techniques.
